ABOUT

While desiring to help unify the Dallas-Ft. Worth scene for a philanthropic cause, Justin “GOAT” Griffith founded Hip Hop Helps Heal, or H4, in 2008. H4 is a non-profit organization built on the love of music, where egos are left at home and people become selfless. They pledge to throw two benefit shows annually to aid specific concerns of the community. They have raised and contributed thousands of dollars to organizations, such as the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Genesis Women’s Shelter, Toys For Tots, American Lung Association, and National Breast Cancer Foundation.

TESTIMONIALS

“I remember randomly searching “abuse” on twitter and the benefit popped up and your twitter name. I just came out of an abusive relationship. I was glad that someone was holding a benefit to raise money for the Genesis Women’s Shelter. It inspired me in so many ways to get through it. Thanks. That was my first step to healing, knowing that I could give back to women in my situation just by attending the event.” -SB
